Healthcare
Background
We support healthcare organizations with Indigenous-led consulting, engagement strategy, RFP delivery, and reporting that strengthens culturally safe care, policy alignment, and accountable service delivery.
Healthcare systems across Canada are being called to advance culturally safe, distinctions-based, and rights-informed approaches to service delivery. From hospitals and public health units to regional authorities, community clinics, and specialized programs, healthcare organizations must navigate reconciliation commitments while maintaining clinical standards, privacy requirements, and operational efficiency.
We provide Indigenous-owned advisory services tailored to healthcare environments—where accuracy, documentation, ethics, and client safety are paramount.
Our services include:
Indigenous Engagement & Community Collaboration
We support healthcare organizations in designing and strengthening engagement approaches with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. This includes outreach planning, facilitation support, community-informed program development, and documentation that reflects both clinical realities and community priorities.
Strategic Advisory & Policy Alignment
We assist healthcare leaders in aligning programs, policies, and service models with UNDRIP principles and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action—particularly those related to health equity, cultural safety, and systemic barriers.
RFP & Competitive Procurement Support
We actively pursue and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including those led by Indigenous health organizations and community partners. We also support healthcare providers and contractors in strengthening Indigenous engagement and reconciliation components within their proposals.
Reporting, Documentation & Analysis
Healthcare environments demand precision. We produce structured reports, briefing notes, engagement summaries, and findings documents that are clear, defensible, and privacy-conscious—supporting governance, compliance, and executive decision-making.
Internal Readiness & Capacity Development
We help healthcare teams build practical processes that support culturally informed engagement, consistent documentation, and measurable progress toward reconciliation commitments.
Our work recognizes that healthcare engagement is not symbolic—it directly affects access, safety, outcomes, and trust. We bring a steady, structured approach that respects both clinical accountability and community voice.
Meaningful progress in healthcare requires more than policy statements. It requires practical systems, clear communication, and sustained relationships. We help organizations build that foundation.
